The other night while Mom and Dad were here, we where outside enjoying the wonderful weather and a piece of Chocolate Cake. Claire came to sit next to Reese and I, and while she was settling herself she placed her piece of chocolate cake an inch too close to Reese. The warm evening breeze caught the smell of chocolate in the air and waifed it right toward Reese. Caught in a trance her womanly instinct kicked in, and before any of us could react she took a dive for the cake. Almost in one bite she had eaten the whole piece. Any man that has ever presented the women/girl in his life the gift of chocolate will recognize the blank look in Reese's eyes has she instinctively devoured that piece of cake and afterwards tried with determination to lick the plate clean. After accomplishing the task at hand she threw herself back and with a look of satisfaction made the sound that all women make after enjoying a great piece of chocolate....."hmmmm" But in the between time she greedily wolfed down the cake and repeatedly made (what we all agreed to be her first word) the sound "Caaake."

Sorry I have no pictures today!
I am not going to wait any longer. I have been waiting to post some cute picture or something but I have been to busy to take the time to snap any photos lately. Good thing that my children have not been to busy to be cute.
We mowed the lawn tonight for the first time this season and I had to laugh because Lance stood perched on a rock in the back yard looking through his binoculars (Two yogurt smoothie containers with the bottoms cut out and hot glued together) telling his dad which way he should mow. It went something like this "Turn up Dad, slow down rock in front of you, turn turn don't hit the house, great job dad now turn around and mow this way." It was hilarious. How Zack ever managed to mow the lawn before Lance, I don't know. Claire has been talking up a storm lately and today see used her binoculars to find grandma. She looked for about two hours when she finally stop and asked me where grandma was. I asked her which grandma she was looking for and she said "My grandma mom" Like I should know. Zack took the kids to the race track yesterday and when someone asked Claire today if she had a good time she said, "It was loud."
My favorite thing that they have done lately is playing super hero's. They get on their bike and ride onto the lawn and "get stuck" and then then stuck one yells for help while the other one comes to the rescue. And then it is the other ones turn.
Reese is still as cute as ever. She is getting a little more vocal about what she wants and can really yell load if you take something away from her. She watches everyone eat and gets upset when you don't share. We have started to put her in the highchair and give her a few cheerios so that she doesn't feel left out while we eat. She does pretty good at picking them up and putting them in her mouth. She has to use her whole fist but what ever works.
Well that it a quick update on the Bailey's I hope to have some photo's for you next time.
