Olympic Fever
So here at the Bailey house we have caught the Olympic Fever. We all watched in wonder as the wonderful opening ceremony unfolded before our eyes. We ate pizza and speculated with Joyce and the boys how they accomplished all of the amazing special effects that they pulled off. The kids woke up early Saturday morning to catch the first of the events. Lance has fallen in love with swimming and Micheal Phelps. The best story happened yesterday while we were watching synchronized diving. Lance was amazed at all of the ladies flipping into the water. When I told him that he could learn to dive like that too, he replied, "Why mommy I can already do great belly flops." At least we will have a carrot to dangle in front of him for the next two weeks, tonight he quickly finished his dinner and got ready for bed so that he could watch Micheal Phelps swim.

The Youse's are home
For you that do not know our neighbors, Joyce, Christian, and Shannon Youse have spent the last three weeks in Hong Kong. The Youse's are not just neighbors they are family, and as such they where greatly missed while they were gone. Joyce had asked Lance to flush her toilets everyday while she was gone and Claire was given the assignment of watering the plants. We also looked after spooky their dog. The kids took their assignments very seriously. Lance would run through their house every day flushing the toilets, Claire watered the plants often and sometimes to the point of over flowing. Spooky was looked after and I would sometimes find Claire missing only to be discovered next door "Checking on Spooky" as she would defend herself for her disappearance. Though they enjoyed their respective jobs they asked every day when we went over to the house when Joyce was coming home. Friday morning Lance woke up and declared that Joyce was home because her car was in the driveway. They both wanted to go over that moment but, knowing that they had gotten home late I convinced them to wait until Joyce and the boys came over themselves. The reunion was very sweet and as a reward for all of the hard work Joyce brought them an adorable Chinese outfit, some pinwheels, and a bag of suckers. Reese got her cute dress, well just for being Reese. They looked so cute at Church.
