I couldn't make it to this years fun run cause I was running a shopping marathon at the time. So Zack ran with Lance while Grandpa tended the girls and manned the camera. If I could not be there at least I wanted pictures to blog. The boys managed to run most of the way. I am sure that Zack would of ran the whole thing had he not stop to wait for Lance to catch up. They both get an A+ in my book just for trying. And thanks grandpa for being both photographer and babysitter during the whole thing.

Brittins Bouquet.

By now it is no secret that my niece Brittin is getting married in November. She, Anjeanette, Taylor, Hannah, Olivia,and Grandma and Grandpa Gifford came down this weekend to get things together for the reception. We labored over a dress that when it came down to it was not going to work, so we took up the task of making the bouquet. Brittin wanted it out of burnt fabric flowers in the colors of her wedding. I was a little worried that it would not turn out, but thanks to Grandma and her flower arranging skills it looks amazing. Saturday morning we rushed to the stores and found a new wedding dress (which is gorgeous on her), brides maid dresses, and all the stuff for decorating the reception. It will be so fun to see everything come together. I hope that is the day that Brittin has been dreaming of since she was a little girl.

Picnic Lunch

Found the cave.

We took our annual fall drive through the Alpine loop with the traditional stop at Bridal Veil Falls during the noon break of General Conference. It was crowed but we enjoyed the view and the drive was great. We were able to see the leaves changing colors and marvel at the beautiful world that we live in while listening to the Prophets speaks. Amazing.
