I want a new family

We spent the weekend in Salt Lake with Jacob and Ember's boys Jonah and Tobin. (They were in San Fransisco looking for a house, sadly they are moving) When we were getting ready to leave Claire decided that she didn't want to be part of our family any more. She wanted to stay at Ember's house. (She thinks Ember is the greatest.) The whole way home she cried to be part of Jonah's family. She keeps saying "Mom, I just want to part of Jonah's family, Please Please." It was heart breaking to see her big eyes wet with tears because she learned to love her cousin so much over the weekend. We had a great time. Thanks Ember and Jacob for the chance to spend some quality time with those sweet boys before you move. It is a time we never will forget. I only regret not taking more pictures. Oh and I can't forget to mention that Lance was the biggest help to me. A mother could not have asked for a better boy. The whole weekend he sacrificed a lot to make sure everyone was happy.

Look what I can do!

Get my own breakfast. What! Cookies aren't breakfast
Climb on the table to play with a bowl of oranges.
Clean up my own mess
I can climb into the toy box to get my own ball

Eat daddy's dinner.
With every passing day Reese is learning that things that she couldn't do before she now can. Things that she once could not reach are with in her reach with just a little effort. As a result she is into and onto everything.

Potty Party

Lately, mostly in the mornings, Reese will walk up to the toilet and pull on the legs of her pj's like she has to go potty. I really don't think that she is anywhere near ready to be toilet trained, but I do every once in awhile obliged her and let her pretended to use the potty.
Opps don't flush Yet!

Easter Creations

Easter is one of my favorite holidays. I was inspired by a few things this season. First Alicia turned me onto a site called www.bakerella.blogspot.com. This lady does amazing things with what could only be called cake truffles. Anyway she had some adorable Easter treats and so I copied a few. The eggs turned out really cute but my bunnies I found were lacking. (Thus I didn't share a photo of them). One night while I was looking for something on www.familyfun.com I came across this cute card made from quilling, so I gave it a try. The cute little purse was made from a book of paper purses that I found in all places Alamosa CO. at a great little scrapbook store there. Anyway I thought I would share.
