Cute Claire

So here are a few random photo's of Claire and her creations. In the first picture Claire is catching raindrops on her tongue. Or as she puts it "tasting only one raindrop, mommy" and the second picture is of the cute man that she made out of play dough yesterday. You have to admit it is a pretty good likeness of her father.

"Traffic Jam"

Lance and his friend Christian have been working hard on creating this piece of artwork. They call it "Traffic Jam." They are so proud of it. They came running upstairs begging me to take a picture. Afterwards Lance asked if I would"Blog it" so everyone could see it. What a clever kid. Something else about Lance; the other day while I was getting ready, Lance came in and asked me what letters made the sound (arr). I told him that is was AR. Later that day while I was cleaning up I found a piece of paper on which he had written the word CAR. Last night he told me how to spell but, BUT. He is such a smart kid. His reading is coming along real well and evidently so is his spelling.

"Lowered Expectations"

For all of you fans of "Saturday Night Live" remember in the 90's when they did a little segment of "Lower Expectations". Well for those of you that are familiar with it, here you go. For the rest of you, just think of this as a nice photo.

Some Silly Pictures of Reese

Here are some random pictures of Reese. She still loves to put things on her head and is always so proud of herself for doing so.

Monday in Eureka

Monday brought the departure of everyone except Anna. We had originally planned on leaving ourselves but decided to stay and drive highway 101 up the coast. I would comment on what we saw but I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Sunday's Trip to the Redwoods

Sunday we all went to church, and I think that the Bailey's double the size of the ward. The siblings all sung in sacrament and did a wonderful job. Zack's Aunt Kathy even drove Granny up for the event. After a wonderful dinner, a few of us drove to see some of the Redwood Forest.

The Birthday Celebration

Saturday night after we had all wash the smell of smoke from our skin we went to a nice Chinese Restaurant (Grandpa's choice) to celebrate the birthday boys 60th. After dinner we gave Mark a "Heart Attack". We had all taken the time to write down a few of our thought about Mark on cut out paper hearts. We took turns reading them to him and paying tribute to a man who has put quite a few years behind him.

Saturday at the Beach

Despite the weather on Saturday afternoon, we packed up the car's and drove to the beach for weenie roast. It was windy, rainy, and very cold but that didn't stop the Bailey's from having a great time. It certainly didn't do anything to lessen the beauty of the scenery.
