Look what I can do

So, sometimes one hates to share when they have been stupid. But then again, when it happens twice, well maybe it is just too good not to. Last Friday I was making chicken enchiladas for dinner and I was using these really great new knives that Joyce got me for Christmas. I was being really careful because as you can see they are really sharp, I looked away for just for a second and I sliced a portion of the tip of my thumb off. This is not a picture of that. No, being the over achiever that I am deep down inside I knew I could do better. So today while I was chopping up some nuts for cookies I looked away to say something to Lance and chopped off even more of the same thumb. So here you are, a picture of my grand achievement for the week. It really did hurt. I started to go into shock and thankfully Zack was home to help get everything under control. Maybe I'll try again in a few days.

OUCH!!!! I feel the same way some days, where it is,"why did I even get out of bed today?!?" Hope it feels better soon. Mom's need all the fingers that they can get! :)

Ow, ow and ow!!! I'm so sorry! Maybe you should bring your chopping over next door for a little while until you heal ;)

I tihnk you should try it again an out a bit of a twist on it and cut different finger if one must be cut. By the looks of it you are not going to have much of a thumb if you continue with this pattern! I love the post below. I now know where milk come from!
