This evening we went over to help the Youse boys clean up the house before their mom gets home. Before leaving we gave each child a job to do. Lance was in charge of trash, dad was in charge of the basement, and I was in charge of the Kitchen. Claire volunteered to wash all the door knobs (a job that Joyce has given her a few times when she has visited). So we descended on the boys and told them we were there to work for 1/2 hour. So we all went our separate ways and at the end Claire didn't want to leave. She had been cleaning a spare TV in the basement for about 20 min and she was not finished. The only way we could get her to leave was with promises that she could continue her work at home. And so some time later and after about a box of wipes, she is still hard at work. How long do you think this will last. Probably not forever.

This is truly amazing. We used to have 15 min. monster cleans. Dad Bailey's idea. They never inspired Claire's kind of cleaning. Wonderful!!
So cute. Luke LOVES to clean, too. He would rather clean than play.
