This year Alicia (my neighbor) and I decided that we would sponsor a neighborhood Easter Party. We vowed to keep it simple and I think that for the two of us we did a fabulous job at doing just that. We held it in the Jensen's backyard, had an Easter egg hunt, and afterwards we ate hot dogs and yummy cupcakes. I think that I would be very unappreciative if I didn't take the time to mention a wonderful experience that we had during the party.
Lance and Claire (as always) were every so excited for the Easter Party and could hardly wait for Saturday to arrive. Friday afternoon while running a few errands in the rain, Lance asked what we were going to do if it rained during our party? I suggested that maybe we should say a prayer and ask Heavenly Father to make it stop raining for our party. I actually meant the maybe they could ask in their evening prayers but Lance went ahead and prayed right there in the car. It was a simple but straight forward prayer. I really didn't think much about it until Saturday morning when Zack came in and said that it was raining. We again gather the kids and knelt and asked Heavenly Father to please help it to stop raining so that we could have our Easter Party. A few minutes later Alicia came over and asked what our plan B was going to be. Tying really hard to set a good example of faith for Lance and Claire I told Alicia that plan B was to have faith that it would stop raining long enough for us to have our party. Sure enough we gathered the eggs, ate the food, and put away the last chair before the heavens opened and the rain poured down. Thank you for answered prayers.

Your girls look so cute in their skirts, I am always telling Anjanette that you need a few more kids. With all of the crafty things you do you make the rest of us moms look bad. Maybe a few more kids it would slow down your craftiness and all the other moms in the world wouldn't look so bad. Like me!
Your are so good with your kids, I sure you could have more. I think I have to many boys to be crafty, but I want to start making skirts for Chloe that would be so much fun.
